To put it simply, every ‘body’ starts with one cell. The cell multiplies and becomes a group of cells. A group of cells become tissue like muscle, bone, blood and nerves. A group of tissues become organs eg: The heart. And a group of organs become a ‘Body’.
The cell works on a magnetic field of positive and negative ions. When the cell is working efficiently every positive ion has an opposing negative ion and vice versa. However when the cell is damaged the positive ions aren’t paired up with the matching negative ions.
Pulsed Magnetic Therapy works by balancing the ions in the cell and matching up the positive to negative ions and thus balancing the cell to work effectively.
Clinical trials have shown Pulsed Magnetic Therapy to be beneficial for the treatment of
Reflexology works on the principle that every organ and system of the body has a corresponding reflex point on the hands and feet (even the face and ears). Feet are used the majority of time and there are over 7000 nerve endings in the feet. Each foot is also divided into 5 zones with a variety of reflex points within these zones. Therefore a reflex point that indicates an energy imbalance may be a referral to another reflex point within the zone. This leads to the holistic approach treating the whole body, mind and spirit and not just symptoms.
Thumb and finger pressure is applied to each reflex point in the toes, feet and ankles to help start a healing process, release tension, remove energy blockages, improve blood circulation, stimulate the removal of lymph and toxins. The aim is to promote healing of the body and mind. By achieving a state of balance known as homeostasis.
The following massage treatments are on offer
The upper back, neck, shoulders, head and face are massaged using a variety of techniques including kneading, compression and stimulation of pressure points. Indian Head Massage is especially good for relieving stress, muscular tension, fatigue, insomnia, headaches, migraines and sinusitis. Indian Head Massage can be incorporated with Ear Candling to help with the elimination of ear wax, tinnitus and to help relieve the pressure of sinusitis. The ear candle is a cotton tube infused with beeswax. One end is inserted into the outer ear passage to a point where it is comfortable for the client. The opposite end is lit and the vacuum created draws out ear wax and impurities. It is extinguished at a point that is safe for the client while allowing enough time for the candle to draw out the impurities from the ear.
